How to make porridge in an autoclave

Buckwheat porridge in an autoclave is a tasty and nutritious dish, rich in protein, fiber, antioxidants, and easy to digest. Suitable for lovers of homemade cuisine without the ability to regularly cook fresh meals. Thanks to the special cooking technology, porridge in an autoclave acquires a special aroma and retains all the beneficial properties of the ingredients for a long time. Pork shoulder after autoclaving falls apart into fibers, becomes tender and juicy, and perfectly complements the texture of buckwheat with onions and carrots, making the dish rich and balanced.

Recipes for autoclaves are quite simple but interesting, and porridge in retort pouches is a great example of this. Lightweight and compact, retort pouches are convenient to take with you anywhere. They are ideal for field conditions, hiking, long trips, or simply as a tasty stock for any occasion.

Retort pouches are made of multi-layer metallized materials, safe for storing and cooking food, and resistant to tearing, the main thing is to follow recommendations and temperature regimes. Buckwheat porridge in an autoclave goes well with various salads, pickled vegetables, and marinades. It is delicious as a hot main course. Thanks to storing porridge in a retort pouch, it is very easy to reheat — you can simply place the pouch in hot water for a few minutes.

Ingredients for porridge with meat in an autoclave

  • Buckwheat500g
  • Carrot100g
  • Onion200g
  • Pork shoulder500g
  • Sunflower oil20g
  • Salt / Pepper
  • Bay leaf
  • Water

Step 1

Cut the onion into small cubes and fry in sunflower oil.

Fry the carrot with the onion until ready, add salt, pepper, and a bay leaf.
