Stewed cabbage with meat recipe for 3 jars of 0.5 liters each.

Ingredients

  • Cabbage 1kg
  • Pork neck400g
  • Carrot 150g
  • Onion150g
  • Tomato paste 40g
  • Sugar30g
  • Allspice
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Sunflower oil20g

Step 1

Cut 400g of pork neck into pieces and fry.

Step 2

Add 30g of salt to the meat.

Step 3

Shred 1kg of cabbage into thin slices using a mandolin (or knife) and add it to the frying meat.

Step 4

Slice 150g of onion into half rings.

Step 5

Cut 150g of carrot into strips.

Step 6

Add the sliced vegetables to the cabbage and stew everything together.

Step 7

Add 40g of tomato paste, 30g of sugar, a bit of salt, and spices: 5g of allspice and 5g of ground black pepper.

Step 8

Add 1 finely chopped chili pepper. Stir and add a bit of water.

Step 9

Prepare 3 jars of 0.5L. Add bay leaves and black peppercorns to them.

Step 10

Add the prepared cabbage mixture with meat and vegetables from the pan into the jars. Close with twist-off lids.

Step 11

Send the jars to the autoclave. The cabbage in the autoclave is cooked at 110 degrees for 40 minutes.

Step 12

The canned cabbage is ready! Enjoy it and leave a few jars for later.
