BBQ Sauce Recipe

Homemade BBQ sauce for winter for 5 jars of 0.5 liters each.

Ingredients

  • Prunes1kg
  • Brown sugar200g
  • Ketchup500g
  • Garlic powder20g
  • Instant coffee2 sticks
  • Salt / Pepper
  • Honey100g

Step 1

Pour boiling water over pitted prunes and let them sit for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Drain the prunes and save the hot water, which will be used in preparation.

Step 3

Add 20g of garlic powder.

Step 4

Add coffee and brown sugar.

Step 5

Add ketchup and honey.

Step 6

Blend the mixture, adjusting the consistency with hot prune water.

Step 7

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 8

Fill jars with barbecue sauce and place in the autoclave, processing for 8 minutes at 100°C.

Step 9

Remove the finished sauce and use it as a tasty addition to barbecue, meat, fish dishes, or pasta.
