How to Choose Lids for Different Jar Types?

Which lids are suitable for autoclaving and how to choose them correctly:

• SKO lids (classic) from Uteho are ideal for preserving pickles, compotes, marinades, acidic products, canned meat, and fish. Remember, when sealing with SKO lids in an autoclave, pressure must be pumped using a compressor. A special key is also required for these lids.
• Twist-off lids are often used for preserving jams, jellies, vegetable salads, pickles, tomato paste, and mushrooms. When using twist-off lids, there is no need to pump pressure into the working chamber. However, it is essential to select jars with threading that matches the ribs on the twist-off lids perfectly.
