How to make homemade condensed milk - video

Condensed milk in an autoclave recipe

Condensed milk in an autoclave and its homemade preparation  — is not only a way to recreate the taste of childhood, but also a great opportunity to create a natural and tasty product without additives. Boiled condensed milk in an autoclave requires the following ingredients: milk, milk powder and sugar. It is better to use homemade milk, as it has a high fat content and no harmful additives, but of course you can also use store-bought milk from a trusted manufacturer; the main thing is that it is of high quality and does not contain harmful elements (palm oil, etc.) that may affect the preparation and taste of the finished product. Condensed milk is a source of childhood memories; everyone remembers sweet waffle cakes in mom’s or grandma’s kitchen. And there is also a wide selection of incredible creams and desserts based on condensed milk.

For example, a quick recipe from our chef: condensed milk, sour cream and salt — whip everything until smooth. Such a sweet cream based on boiled homemade condensed milk has a slight sour note. It can be safely used for desserts or cheesecakes.

Homemade condensed milk in an autoclave — advantages:

  • Natural composition. Such boiled condensed milk does not contain artificial additives and preservatives; it is healthier and safer than store-bought counterparts.
  • Sweetness control. Some like moderately sweet condensed milk, while others enjoy cloying sweetness. Control the amount of sugar in the recipe and make the product exactly the way you like it.

Condensed milk in an autoclave is the creation of favorite sweets and desserts with maximum control over the quality and composition of the product.

Boiled condensed milk for 5 jars of 0.5 liters.

Ingredients for boiled condensed milk

  • Milk (homemade)1 l
  • Sugar1 kg
  • Milk powder 26%300 g

Step 1

Combine all the ingredients (milk, milk powder and sugar) in a large container.
