Step-by-step Recipe: Chicken with Pineapple in an Autoclave

We prepare chicken in Asian style with sweet and sour sauce and pineapples in the UTEHO autoclave. Minimum effort, and you get a perfect dish for lunch or dinner. And the taste rivals the best Asian restaurants. Thanks to the autoclave, this preparation is easy to store in a jar at home, so you'll always have delicious food at hand.

Many people know the classic chicken and pineapple salad, but a hot dish in sweet and sour sauce has an even richer and more refined taste. Pineapple combined with tender chicken meat gives the dish a special aroma, and the sauce made of ketchup, vinegar, sugar, and chili paste creates a harmonious balance of sweetness and spiciness. The combination of ingredients makes the dish vibrant, appetizing, and unusual. Starch adds thickness, while chili paste gives a piquant heat that balances perfectly with the sweetness of pineapple.

Chicken in an autoclave is cooked at high temperatures, making the meat not only soft, juicy, and aromatic, but also safe for long-term storage. At home, this dish turns out just as good as in a restaurant.

The main thing is to choose the right mode:

  • If your autoclave has a thermometer at the top, cook at 110°C for 30 minutes.
  • If the thermometer is at the bottom — set 120°C for 30 minutes.
During the cooking process, all the components combine, resulting in tender chicken in sweet and sour sauce that literally melts in your mouth.

Chicken stew in autoclave – recipe for 4 jars of 0.5 liter each.

Ingredients for Cooking Chicken

  • Chicken fillet800 g
  • Apple cider vinegar50 g
  • Ketchup250 g
  • Corn starch50 g
  • Salt40 g
  • Ground black pepper
  • Sunflower oil60 g
  • Chili paste100 g
  • Canned pineapple350 g

Step 1

Trim and cut the chicken fillet into thin strips.

Marinate the chicken: transfer the meat to a deep bowl and add salt, pepper, oil, and a heaping tablespoon of starch. Mix everything well. While mixing the chicken with all the ingredients in the bowl, simultaneously start heating a pan to fry everything later.

Add oil to the pan and heat it well. Place the meat and fry it on both sides until golden brown.

Cut the pineapple into cubes.

After frying the chicken, combine it in the pan with the diced pineapple, ketchup, chili paste, 5–20 g vinegar, sugar, salt and wait for it to boil. Once the sauce starts boiling – turn off the heat.

Add the fried chicken to the sauce and stir everything together.

Place into jars. If needed, you can add a little water to the jars.

Close with lids and sterilize in the autoclave:
  • If the thermometer is at the top of the tank – 110°C for 30 minutes.
  • If the thermometer is at the bottom of the tank – 120°C for 30 minutes.
