Mackerel in an autoclave is an excellent recipe for anyone who wants to enjoy tender and aromatic fish at any time with minimal effort. This mackerel recipe, cooked in an autoclave, preserves the natural taste of the fish while adding bright accents through spices and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Mackerel1.5kg
  • Carrot500g
  • Onion400g
  • Salt40g
  • Water2l
  • Bay leaf
  • Coriander seeds
  • Allspice1kg

Step 1

Clean the fish of internal organs and fins.

Step 2

Cut the mackerel into convenient portioned pieces.

Step 3

Heat 2 liters of water on the stove, add 40 grams of salt, and bring it to a boil.

Step 4

Pour the fish with the hot saline solution and leave for 5 minutes.

Step 5

While the fish is marinating, cut the carrots and onions into arbitrary pieces.

Step 6

Drain the water from the fish using a sieve.

Step 7

Place a bay leaf at the bottom of the jar, and tightly layer the vegetables: carrots, onions, and mackerel, adding coriander seeds and other spices to taste.

Step 8

Close the jars with lids and cook in the autoclave. Cooking time for fish in the autoclave is 30 minutes at 110 degrees Celsius.

Step 9
