Dividers for Jars and Retort Pouches

Cooking in an autoclave has its peculiarities, one of which is the need to properly organize the space for even heating of products.  The use of dividers becomes extremely important, as jars and pouches often float or shift during autoclaving, creating a risk of container damage and affecting the uniformity of temperature processing.

When canning in jars,  for convenient placement, dividers are placed between layers, and a loader is placed on the top layer to press the containers down and secure them in place. To facilitate loading the autoclave, it is recommended to first stack jars in multiple layers with dividers and the loader, and then pour water that should cover the loader or the top layer of jars by 2 cm.
