This recipe produces smooth, thick apricot jam that is perfect with pancakes, cottage cheese pancakes, toast, pastries or simply a cup of tea.

Ingredients for Apricot Jam

  • Frozen or fresh apricots2.5 kg
  • Sugar1 kg
  • Brown sugar100 g
  • Water150–200 g

Step 1

Cut the fresh apricots in half and remove the pits. You can also use prepared frozen apricots.

Add regular white sugar to the apricots.

Pour in 150–200 grams of water.

  • If the thermometer is located in the upper part of the chamber — 100°C for 15 minutes.
  • If the thermometer is located in the lower part of the chamber — 110°C for 15 minutes.
